Description: For the In Good Nick brand identity, I developed the entire visual identity from concept to completion. The brief was to create a brand identity for ceramist Nicholas Antoniades, inspired by the unique story behind his craft. The name "In Good Nick" is a playful nod to Nicholas’s Greek heritage, the cracks often found in his ceramics, and the phrase “in good nick,” meaning in good condition.
Starting from initial concept sketches, I designed a logo that features a symbolic ‘nick’ or crack at the top, subtly forming the letter 'N' for Nicholas. The logo is shaped like a bowl, reflecting the most common form he creates. This design elegantly ties the brand’s story, functionality, and visual elements together.
Beyond the logo, I extended the brand identity to include packaging design, business collateral, and other applications, ensuring a cohesive and professional representation of the brand across all mediums. Every element was designed to reflect the thoughtful craftsmanship and personality behind Nicholas’s work.
